How To Change Your Contact Information
Changes to your child's information can be directly through the Aeries Student Information System. Please also notify school office immediately of any change in your contact information, especially emergency contacts and phone numbers. Address changes require proof of residency brought into the school office.
Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Students may be dropped off in the middle and west parking lots before and after school. DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILD OFF IN THE STAFF PARKING LOT (CLOSEST TO TAPO STREET). Students must exit on the passenger side of the vehicle with their backpack in hand. You may not park along a red curb, bus zone or a “Staff” stall for any reason. Do not park or leave your vehicle in the drop off/pick up lanes. These lanes are intended for through traffic only. We appreciate your cooperation.
The gate on Cochran Street and one gate in the middle and west parking lots on Apricot Road will be open for campus access in the mornings beginning at 8 a.m. and in the afternoons starting at 2:35 p.m. For the safety of your student, DO NOT drop off before 8 a.m. All gates will be locked promptly at 8:30 a.m. The same gates will be open after school starting at 2:35 p.m.
Arrival and Dismissal
Breakfast service begins at 8 a.m. in the MPR and ends promptly at 8:25 a.m. Students arriving for breakfast should enter the campus through one of the open gates. School begins at 8:30 a.m. Dismissal is at 2:39 p.m. daily for all grades.
If your student arrives after the gates have closed, parents are responsible for escorting students into the office to sign them in and verify the reason for tardiness. Please note that students who are still eating breakfast at 8:30 a.m. will be marked tardy.
Students should line up at the 8:27 a.m. warning bell. The Pledge of Allegiance begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Morning announcements will immediately follow.
Student Data Confirmation in Aeries
(Mandatory Every Year)
The information stored in the Aeries Parent Portal, our student information system, provides crucial information about your child(ren) so our staff can best assist them and you. This includes medical information and those people authorized by you to pick up your child(ren) in the event of an emergency. Parents MUST log into the Aeries Parent Portal to review/complete information and forms required by law and the Simi Valley Unified School District each year and for each student. Log in to the Aeries Parent Portal through the link on the home page. You will be prompted (at the top of screen) to “Click Here” to complete the “Student Data Confirmation Process.” The SVUSD is required by law to notify parents of these rights and responsibilities.
After-School Pick-Up and
Students should be picked up promptly after dismissal. Any students left on campus at 3 p.m. will be supervised in the office and will need to be signed out by parent or guardian. In the event that an emergency delays your arrival at school for dismissal, please call the office immediately. Thank you.

Kindergarten-9:55 to 10:15 a.m.
Grades 1, 2, 3- 10:15 to 10:35 a.m.
Grades 4, 5, 6- 10:35 to 10:55 a.m.
TK- 11:00-11:40 a.m.
Kindergarten- 11:20 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Grades 1 & 2- 11:45 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.
Grades 3 & 4- 12:15 to 12:55 p.m.
Grades 5 & 6- 12:40 to 1:20 p.m.
