I feel very fortunate to be in my tenth year serving the Santa Susana community.  My career in education began in 1997 when I was an instructional aide.  I fell in love with elementary education and proceeded to get a multiple subject credential.  I have taught many grades, and I would say they are all my favorite grade to teach!  I love coming to work each and every day.  We have an amazing staff and I welcome you to Santa Susana.  

I reside in Simi Valley with my husband, two children, and three dogs.

CORE Values - It Matters

The best way for children to learn is through repetition. As we (the staff) at Santa Susana Elementary School guide your child(ren) through each month's Core Values theme, we ask that our parents/guardians also talk to your child(ren)  about the theme at home. It's very simple. Just follow the tips below and SAY, KNOW, SEE and BE with your child. Thank you!

Explain the monthly value in your own words, give examples, and discuss why it matters.

 

 

Point out the monthly value when you see it in stories, other people, history, and nature.

 

 

Practice! Live out the monthly value at home and at school!
