Mrs. Laura Hofmann

I love being a teacher. Everyday I get to spend my time with sweet, funny and amazing children. It is very important to me that my students love coming to school so I work very hard to create a fun, warm and enriching experience for them everyday. My classroom culture is also very important to me. My students learn to look out for each other and treat each other with kindness and care. We really become a family and I consider them "my kids." Through the year, we sing, we dance, we learn to read and write and so much more.

I have been teaching kindergarten at Santa Susana Elementary School since 2004. I feel connected to the kids, families and staff at this school and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

I have a degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from California Lutheran University. I have two sweet cats at  home and love to travel with my husband when we can.
